LONDON'S BURNING, graduation movie - Trailer and Making Of

In 1977, in a frantic London on the eve of Elizabeth II's Silver Jubilee, Ralph, punk, anarchist and in love, gets it into his head to steal the Crown of England for the beautiful Wendy, whatever the cost. After all, is there a better proof of love than the symbol of this monarchy they dream of overthrowing?

With 5 teammates, we've worked on this movie for over a year.

I wrote the scenario, was in charge of the rigging of the main character and the guard; created the groom system, did small vellum simulations for the flags; the lighting for the tower interiors -surveillance room, corridors, jewels room- and I did a little compositing at the end of the production.

Sequence reproduction exercice from Despicable me, with 3 teammates.

I did Gru's rig, the wooden kiosks modeling, lighting of the 2nd shot, and the smoke simulation.

Our 3rd year project was working on  a short 3D movie in teams of four from the scenario to the post-production, based on the songs from Les Frères Jacques. From their song La lune est morte (The Moon is Dead), we told the story of the Egyptian God Râ, who, in  a Blade Runner-ish kind of Egypt, has to save the Machine, the city's source of energy, before it's too late.

I polished the Machine's modeling, did all the rigging, animated the walk cycle; as well as worked on some other animations and compositing.

For the International Animation Challenge -taking place in Singapore-, we were dispatched in teams of four, chosen at random from different countries. The rule was that we had 5 days to create a 20 seconds animation starting and ending by the picture of a Vanda orchid, one of Singapore's main symbols. With my team, we decided to work on an animation retracing Singapore's most memorable places and customs. We won second place.

All the entries are available here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BYj2eiTxs08

I was in charge of the dancing portion of the animation.

First attempt at animating on After Effects.

I created the environment on Photoshop, the characters on Illustrator and I animated on After Effects with the Duik tool.

What would happen is the grim reaper got tired of her job and decided to take some time off at the beach?

Starting from here, a friend and I created this very short movie, using Animate and TvPaint. I was in charge of all aspects of the beach scenes.

A very short stop-motion film, created in a week with 5 teammates.
